Having Fun

The Howarth House lies at the crossroads to Vermont and New Hampshire, as well as a midpoint in the Mohawk Trail.  We are in the heart of  Johnny Appleseed country in North Worcester County and there are many points of interest to visit.  Mt. Wachusett, Mt. Watatic and Mt. Monadnock are all short drives for hiking, downhill and cross country skiing and other great outdoor entertainment.

We are neighbors to Fitchburg State University, who offer some outstanding musical and cultural performances through their “Center Stage” program.  For a fun and relaxing evening consider catching a dinner and a show while staying overnight.  Check them out...
